Be effective - make a move

Lyrics from some of my favourite bands have given me moments of inspiration, the same can be said from books. As I read more these days, there are sentences that give me pause. This one from Patrick Bet-Davids book, Your Next Five Moves: Master the art of Business Strategy has me thinking about how to be nimble enough to adjust, or pivot, my approach to work / live / love.
The moment I invest my efforts and push myself to be pro-active – I know I need to contemplate, anticipate the inevitable reaction.
